FOMU

The FOMU - Photo Museum Antwerp has an extensive and extremely versatile collection that covers almost the entire field of photography, from the very beginning up to the present day. Furthermore, the FOMU annually hosts several temporary exhibitions by both Belgian and internationally renowned photographers. Visitors can also go there for lectures and workshops, and Cinema Lumière organizes film screenings in the two beautifully equipped cinemas. The museum set-up changes every four months, showing photography as a medium that is part of a broad social and cultural context. In addition to artistic photos, there is also room for journalistic, scientific, documentary and fashion photography, association collections, family photos, postcards and advertising photos.

Zao Wang

A thousand years ago in Japan, fish was kept in vats of fermented rice. Literally, sushi means 'marinated rice'. This is how the classic Japanese sushi was born, a ball of rice topped with a slice of raw fish. At Zaowang sushi means much more. On our menu you will find sashimi, nigiri, sushi, hoso maki, temaki and a wide range of futo maki. You can choose à la carte or go for one of our combos. There are sushi maki boats for 2, 3 and 4 people. You can also pick up sushi and other dishes, both for a quick bite and for a festive occasion.

De Peerdestal

The Peerdestal has been a household name in Antwerp for over 47 years. In the 27 years that chef Mike Vlasman has been at the stove here, the restaurant has evolved considerably. Initially you could only go here for horse steak or chicken on a spit, but in the meantime you can also go here for a six-week matured Basque txogitxu sirloin steak or simment hall.
