St. Catherine's Church
This beautiful church has a recognizable facade with a large round stained glass window and two bell towers.
The church is dedicated to Saint Catherine of Alexandria and was first mentioned in Eindhoven's early history, dating back to the 1200s.
Saint Catherine's Church has a neo-Gothic design that has changed over the years. The twin towers are 73 meters high.
During the Second World War, the church was badly damaged, but a restoration was carried out and in 1972 the church was dedicated as a national monument. At night the church is lit up in a spectacle of fantastic colors that also illuminate the decorative interior with its huge stone pillars and decorative arches.
