One day Rosalie decided to make something she had learned from her mother a long time ago: butter babblers! She wrapped the sweets in simple butter wrappers and sold them to wealthy English and French children. The children gave Rosalie a nickname: 'Mère Babelutte' or Mother Babelutte. The word 'Babelutte' is the French translation of the word 'babblers'.
