KANAL Center Pompidou
When it reopens in 2024, KANAL-Centre Pompidou will be the largest cultural institution in Brussels, with more than 35,000 m2 dedicated to artistic creation in all its forms. Until then, the museum offers a cultural and artistic program that takes place both intramural and extramural.
During the summer of 2021, OpenStreets21 will take center stage, where various Brussels culture houses, Filter Café Filtré and Cultureghem will join forces and take to the streets. The result is a summer full of free performances and workshops in six Brussels summer streets. The program includes a dance performance in the Molenbeekse Opzichterstraat, an imagination workshop in the Jets-Koekelbergse Vanderborghtstraat and preparing a meal together in the Emile Féronstraat in Sint-Gillis.
OpenStreets21 is a collaboration project in six summer streets between KANAL-Centre Pompidou, Filter Café Filtré, Ultima Vez, KVS, Cultureghem, Kaaitheater and Brussels 2030. You will discover the performances and workshops in the Vanderborghtstraat in Jette-Koekelberg, the Opzichterstraat and the Picardstraat in Molenbeek, and the Villalaan, the Joseph Caesstraat and the Emile Feronstraat in Saint-Gilles.
