Bozar - Center for Fine Arts
When talking about culture in Belgium, you can't miss the Center for Fine Arts (Bozar), an arts center in the heart of the city, a minute's walk from the departure hall of Central Station.
Whether it concerns exhibitions, concerts, theater and film performances, projects on literature and architecture, Bozar always puts originality and innovation first. Bozar relies on a team of 300 employees.
The varied and sophisticated program proves that I keep my finger on the current pulse. It is not only creation, quality and a rich artistic offer that are central to this. Bozar is also concerned about the total experience.
The imposing and at the same time intimate building plays an important role in this. The Center for Fine Arts is therefore a masterpiece by the Belgian architect Art Nouveau and Art Deco Victor Horta, whose reputation extends far beyond the national borders. The gigantic building, which accounts for more than 33,000 m2 of available space, is of an astonishing beauty and to a large extent also classified as a historic monument.
