Must visit

BELvue Museum

French fries, beer, chocolate… but Belgium is more than that, isn't it? Democracy, prosperity, solidarity, pluralism, migration, language, Europe: these are the themes proposed by the BELvue museum to get acquainted with the country. Each theme is elaborated on the basis of contemporary testimonies and then explained through history. It is a contemporary and original way to gain a better insight into today's Belgium.

Be sure to also take a look at the gallery, because there are more than 200 objects that form the material memory of Belgium. You can admire, among other things, a lithograph by Magritte, as well as a motorcycle, crystal vases from Val Saint-Lambert and a ball with the signatures of the Red Devils on it. It has therefore become a collection with a high Belgian quality.

There are also different ways to visit the museum: autonomous visits, a guided visit, a quest or a thematic visit. In addition , the BELvue museum is free to enter every Wednesday from 2 pm .
