A thousand years ago in Japan, fish was kept in vats of fermented rice. Literally, sushi means 'marinated rice'. The Peerdestal has been a household name in Antwerp for over 47 years. In the 27 years that chef Mike Vlasman has been at the stove here, the restaurant has evolved considerably.
