Euromast
The watchtower of the Euromast was built on the occasion of the Floriade garden fair in 1960. The tower is made of reinforced concrete and has an inner diameter of 9 meters with walls 30 cm thick. The floor hangs 96 meters above the ground. The Euromast lift takes visitors to a height of 100 meters in just 30 seconds, where there is an observation deck and a brasserie restaurant. The rotating Euroscope elevator takes people to 185 meters. Euromast is the only attraction in Europe from which you can rappel down to the ground. This is of course only done under the supervision of a professional.
