Adinkerke
You may know Adinkerke mainly as the home town of amusement park Plopsaland De Panne. Admittedly, it's one of the biggest assets in this small community, but that doesn't mean there isn't anything else to do. De Panne station, formerly Adinkerke station, is the last railway station connecting Belgium to France via railway line 73. Museum Cabour WWII teaches you in an interesting way how it was in this region during the Second World War. So enough history. You cannot end such an instructive day on an empty stomach. So don't forget to refuel in one of the tasty surrounding restaurants before heading home.
