Het Palingshuis
The PalingsHuis opened in 1870 and is the oldest restaurant in Temse and probably far beyond. Since 1973, the business has been run by Remi and Annemie Van Grasdorff-Goossens. Son Coert Van Grasdorff has been running the restaurant for several years and is the specialist preparer of our delicious mussels. Commissioned by the Gazet van Antwerpen, an expert jury went in search of the best mussels in the Waasland-Mechelen region and unanimously chose Het Palingshuis in Temse as the best mussel restaurant of 2019-2020. We don't have to tell you that twice, do we?!
