In Choc Gent is a fixed value in Ghent and you will find it right opposite the 'Gravensteen'. We like to spoil you in the morning with a delicious breakfast. In the afternoon with a delicious lunch and in the afternoon there are sweets to enjoy. In Choc Gent is famous for its Crazy Shakes, delicious waffles and pancakes, fresh chocolate milks with tasty toppings, coffees and delicious baked goods. The concept is simple, cozy and young with an honest fresh kitchen, supplemented with regional products.

What are you going to do?

You are responsible for the proper functioning in the kitchen, alternating with the functioning behind the bar.
From mise-en-place to finishing you are responsible for various dishes and drinks.
You are also responsible for checking the outgoing dishes.
Kitchen work in both the cold and hot kitchen.
You guard the uniform card and the culinary level
Excellent service and high-quality products are the key concepts here.
You show initiative for improving or adapting the menu, menus, recipes, ... You also take care of orders, stock management as well as the HACCP control

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who likes to work in a team. A person who is motivated, has a personal contribution and maintains a good atmosphere. You are not afraid to take action and you can cook a pot.

Timetable:

Wednesday to Sunday. In the evening we are closed from 6 pm.
Our weekly closing days are on Monday and Tuesday
