With a well-arranged and pleasant city center where some historic favorites are showing off, it is always a pleasant place to stay. The Hallentoren, for example, is a must-see, with a justified recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. At the city park you will find the stately Huis Mulle de Terschueren, a beautiful mansion. The rural character has also been beautifully preserved in Tielt: the Poelbergmolen is a beautiful illustration of this.
