View our selection ↓Harelbeke is a municipality in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The city is located on the river Leie and is part of the city of Kortrijk. Nicknamed Music City, Harelbeke is best known as the birthplace of Flemish composer, music educator and conductor Peter Benoit. Harelbeke is also the place where the cycling classic E3 Harelbeke is held every year. The inhabitants of the city are not called Harelbekenaren, but Oarelbekoanen (Harelbekanen), and proudly bear their nickname Ratten van Harelbeke. As regional pastries there are of course Peter Benoittaart and Harelbeekse Rattentaart.
