Without a doubt worth a visit in the Meetjesland: Eeklo. The center itself is full of historic sights, with the town hall and belfry as absolute eye-catchers. You can also spot some beautiful Art Nouveau and Art Deco buildings scattered here and there. Want to relax in the green? You can do that in the Heldenpark or in the beautiful provincial domain Het Leen. And of course, your visit is not complete without checking out one of the many bars and restaurants. One thing is certain: you will not be left hungry in Eeklo.
