Adegem
Adegem is one of the oldest villages in East Flanders, and you will notice that right away. The old, cozy atmosphere is so inviting that you immediately want to sit at some terrace. For your daily dose of culture, you will be catapulted back to the Second World War here. How important the Americans were in Ypres, so important were the Canadians and the Poles in Adegem. Together they helped liberate Meetjesland during the war, and they are now honored for that in the Canada – Poland War II Museum. Here you get a piece of history richer.
